Winners of the Case of the Week for 2004

Moshe is certainly well known by all who have heard his lectures and know his enthusiasm for early scans. I have to admit that several times I had to ask him where on images he saw the anomalies√Ę‚ā¨¬¶ he has magic eyes, much better than mine. Also he has fun in sending me 2-3 cases from his incredible collection of the anomaly represented in the COW√Ę‚ā¨¬¶ A real champion and a nice person ! Emmanuel Julien (8)Second place

Emmanuel is not only a talented sonologist he is also an accomplished painter James Bofill (7) Third place

James is one of the few high level MFM in the US who finds the time to answer case alongside all his clinical and academic work. Always with a kind word and a great differential diagnosis ! Alegre Montse (6)Fourth place

Alegre has not only answered many cases she has authored several. She works in a referral center in Barcelona and has been doing ultrasound since 1979.   Patrick Bailleul (6) Fourth  place

A long time participant, Patrick made it to the top this year ! Patrick has been doing ultrasound since 1976 and he too works in an academic environment not too far from Emmanuel Juliien (above) Anita Silber (5) Fifth place

Another long time participant, always with a kind word in her answers :). She does many of the early ob exams (see Moshe above !). One of her 4 kids is already in 3rd year medicine... Pankajam Rangrajan (4)Sixth place

Pankajam is a more recent participant and she had a great year ! Adrian Clavelli (4)Sixth place

adrian clavelli
Adrian is one of my long-ago fellow, and one of my "metastases√Ę‚ā¨ in Buenos Aires. This year he opened his own practice yet had time to answer several correct answers

Sonographers (out of a possible 25 cases) Dianna Heidinger (3)First place

Diana has been a sonographer since 1982. You probably remember her for her COW 51 that was one of the more spectacular one we had.Patty Berkhout(2)

Second place Patty is a sonographer in the Netherlands and she too has done pretty well this year

And amongst the former physician winners it is hard not to congratulate < b> Christa Faschingbauer < /b> (21 cases), Ildiko Veiszenbacher (17 cases), Annette Reuss(17 cases) and < b> Kovacs Tibor < /b> (16 cases). And also the incredible Fabienne Bigi who has this year solved 17 cases.I am at lost to explain how they can answer so many correct cases.I actually use them to assess the feasibility of the cases.Since so many people answer the cases I had though that by sheer luck out of 1000 people looking at the cases, for sure some should get the answer "by chance√Ę‚ā¨. Yet these people prove that wrong by providing the correct answers time after time.
