Case report
Following images show a case of interrupted inferior vena cava inferior with continuation of the venous flow via azygos vein and persistent right umbilical vein diagnosed at 30 weeks of an uneventful pregnancy. The baby was born in term and is doing well.
Images 1-3, video 1: The images and video show sagittal scans of the fetal thorax and abdomen at the level of the right atrium of the heart. Only remnant of the interrupted vena cava with inflow of the hepatic veins can be seen.
