Case report

Following images show a case of aneurysm of vena Galeni that was seen in a 27 weeks old fetus of a primigravida that was sent to our office due to cystic lesion in in the fetal brain.

Images 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7: The images show transverse 2D (images 1-6) and 3D (image 7) gray-scale and color Doppler scans of the fetal head with aneurysm of vena Galeni and dilated straight and lateral sinuses.

Images 8, 9, 10: The images show fetal cardiomegaly and dilated superior vena cava due to blood overload caused by the arterio-venous malformation at the level of the vena Galeni.
