Case report

Patient was presented to our department for the ultrasound examination.

We discovered the following findings:

  • Anhydramnios
  • Lung hypoplasia
  • Dilated urinary bladder, no "keyhole sign"
  • Dilated bowel with echogenic content, possibly colovesical fistula
  • Sacral agenesis

Pregnancy was terminated based on the ultrasound findings. Clinical examination of the fetus showed grossly protuberant abdomen, no genitourethral or anal external opening. Final diagnosis was urorectal septum malformation sequence.
