Case report:

This is a 25-year-old woman (G2P1), who was referred to our antenatal unit at 23 weeks for fetal anomaly. There were no familial history of "limb reduction defects" and other skeletal congenital disease. Her family and personal history were both non-contributive. She had no history of drug abuse or use of medication during the first trimester of her pregnancy. The first ultrasound was normal.

The ultrasound scan performed at 22 weeks showed the absence of the left wrist (Image 1, 2). 3D sonography confirmed the anomaly (Figure N°2A, 2B). No other anomalies were detected. The other hand was normal (Image 3, 4). Feet were normal (Image 5), in this male fetus. The karyotype of the fetus was normal.

The patient delivered at 39 weeks. The anomaly of superior extremity was confirmed.
