Case report

Following images show a case of trisomy 13. The mother was a 33 years old (G3P2) with no remarkable history. She presented to our clinic very late at 39 weeks for delivery. Before delivery, ultrasonographic examination was done and found growth restricted fetus with microcephalia, holoprosencephaly, microphthalmia, arhinia, bilateral cleft lip and palate, and postaxial polydactyly of hands.

Images 1, 2, 3, and 4: The images show fetal head with microcephaly, holoprosencephaly and microphthalmia. 

Images 5, 6: Bilateral cleft lip.

Images 7, 8: Bilateral polydactyly.

Images 9, 10, 11: Postnatal images of the fetus with trisomy 13 - arhinia, bilateral cleft lip, postaxial polydactyly.
