Case report

A 22-year old woman (G1P0) was referred to our unit for routine second trimester scan at 18 weeks 4 days of gestational age (according to fetal biometry).

Our scanning revealed aorta arising from the right ventricle and pulmonary artery arising from the left ventricle. The diagnosis was complete transposition of great arteries and it was confirmed after birth.

No other anomalies were detected.
