Case report:

A 35-year-old woman (G3P2) was referred to our antenatal unit at 23 weeks for prenatal ultrasound. There was no known family history of congenital disease. The patient did not take any medication.

In our antenatal unit, fetal echo-cardiography showed:

• A transposition of the great vessels (Figure 1-3).
• The interventricular septum with a normal aspect.
• The pulmonary artery and the aorta with a normal calibre (Video Clip 1-3).

After counselling, the patient accepted an amniocentesis (Normal karyotype).

The patient (with in-utero fetus) was transferred to Paris for post-natal surgery with excellent result.
