Toxoplasmosis, endocardial fibroelastosis

Case report

The images bellow were taken in a fetus with a congenital toxoplasmosis during a third-trimester examination. Calcifications and endocardial fibroelastosis were seen within the fetal heart. Tricuspid and mitral regurgitations and hypoplastic aortic arch with dilatation of the pulmonary artery were also present, and the left heart was hypokinetic.
