Spina bifida, thoraco-lumbar

This is a 42-year-old primigravida, G4P3, referred to our centre at 38th week of pregnancy due to a suspected hydrocephalus and a choroid plexus cyst.  Our examination revealed a large cystic mass at the level of the thoraco-lumbar spinal region concordant with the spina bifida accompanied with the dilatation of the cerebral ventricles of the fetus. The baby was delivered at 38th week.
