This is a 13-year-old primigravida referred to our department at 25 weeks due to an Arnold Chiari syndrome. There was an hydrocephaly with lumbar myelomeningocele. There was no associated anomalies. After extensive counseling, parents decided for the interruption of pregnancy. Amniocentesis was performed  just before delivery. Karyotyping showed normal karyotype (46 XX). The fetus autopsy was not performed.
