Dear Esteemed users of TheFetus.net,
I wanted to make you all aware of exciting upgrades to the site! Over the next several weeks, I will go through these in detail but I wanted to list them now:
-
We have a new winner's tab on the homepage! This has been re-designed to keep a running tally of correct cases for each user and lists the top 5. Make sure you have correctly identified your role in your profile in order to be properly categorized in these columns. Remember that "sonographer" is the word used to describe the technician who performs the ultrasound in some countries and is not the doctor.
-
This brings me to the next upgrade: archived News and Notes. You can review old News and Notes postings. If you forgot how to edit your profile, check out the posting called "How to: Edit profile"
-
In the Discussion tab, you can now upload image files (remember to use .jpg files) to the discussion posts. I hope that you will use this to discuss the diagnostic challenges that you see in your hospitals and clinics all over the world. You can get the opinion of an international community of people excited about fetal ultrasound. Don't be shy!
-
Check out the "recently posted" tab on the homepage. Take a look at the articles that have been recently uploaded to the site, including Dr Witters' article from Belgium!
-
Finally, there is a way for you to report any technical problems using the "Report a problem" button on the right side of the screen next to the scroll bar. Please use this button to report videos that are not functioning, images that are missing, etc.
And please remember to SEND US YOUR INTERESTING CASES! We cannot continue to post the case of the week every 2 weeks without your help!
