Case report
This is a case of a 30-year-old patient, G4 P3, with unremarkable medical history. She was referred to our department at 12 weeks of gestation for the first trimester ultrasound scan and suspected malformation of the lower extremitites.
Ultrasound examination revealed a single fetus, nuchal translucency, NT=1 mm. We detected fused lower extremities, ultrasound finding typical for sirenomelia. The parents decided for the termination of the pregnancy. Pathologist confirmed our diagnosis of sirenomelia.
