Sacrococcygeal teratoma, Type I

Sefa Kelekci, MD

Turkey

This is a 32-year-old-woman, G2P1, referred to our center due to polyhydramnios and a fetal tumor suggestive of a sacrococcygeal teratoma. We performed Doppler to assess fetal hemodynamic compromise and it revealed a hyperdynamic circulation. We prescribed corticoids for lung maturation and amniodrainage. An elective cesarean was performed. The baby underwent surgery and he is now healthy.

The scans through the heterogeneous mass.
