Case report

We present a case of a 35-year-old woman (G1P0) with unremarkable history. The first-trimester sonogram and triple test were normal. Ultrasound examination at the 22nd week of pregnancy revealed no pathology. At 32nd week of pregnancy we found idiopathic polyhydramnios. Soonographic examination at 32 weeks of pregnancy revealed:

• Left hand polydactyly;

• Bilateral pyelectasia (10 mm);

• Polyhydramnios with a normal stomach;

• Lingual protrusion.

The fetal karyotype was normal (46, XX). The baby was delivered by cesarean section at the 38th week of pregnancy due to preeclampsia. The weight of the baby was 2800 g. Postnatal examination confirmed left hand polydactyly with no other anomalies.
