This case demonstrates Pierre Robin syndrome with glossoptosis, and posterior airway obstruction. For 16 weeks, the tongue is normal and the air way is not obstructed. The tongue occupies most of space of the oral cavity. During the swallowing process in the early pregnancy, the tongue moves anteriorly up to the anterior maxilla and sometimes beyond. Though the clip the tongue is almost invisible, its maximal range is up to the posterior third of the mouth.
