Occipital meningocele

Case report

The following images show a case of the occipital meningocele detected at 13th week of pregnancy. Absence of the occipital skull, with a posterior cystic lesion (15x10 mm) representing the occipital meningocele was seen. The parents opted for the interruption of the pregnancy. The final diagnosis was posterior occipital meningocele.
