Case Report

The following images represent a case of occipital cephalocele diagnosed at the 23 weeks of gestation. Cephalocele was discovered during the ultrasound examination performed at 23 weeks. The diagnose of the isolated cephalocele was confirmed on the MRI examination done at 28 and 34 weeks of gestation, respectively. No other brain anomaly was diagnosed. Patient delivered at 38 weeks via planned cesarian section. Surgery of the neonate was schedulled after the delivery.
