Case report

A 38-year-old woman (G2P1) presented to our unit at 21st week of pregnancy. She didn"t undergo the first trimester ultrasound (NT). Our examination revealed just two anomalies - the abnormal prenasal edema; and the edema (lymphedema) of the dorsal part of the feet. The rest of the fetal anatomy was normal (and no cystic hygroma could be seen). The gender of the fetus was female. An amniocentesis was done and the 45, X0 karyotype was found.

Images 1, 2: 21st week of pregnancy; the vast majority of the fetal anatomy was normal.
