Case report

Following prenatal and postnatal images show a case of the labial fusion first time seen at 26 weeks of gestation.

Images 1, 2: 26 week of gestation. Images show a cystic structure in the perineal region of the fetus. The finding represents the labial fusion with distended introitus.

Images 3, 4: 26 week of gestation. Images show a cystic structure appended to the perineal region of the fetus. The finding represents the distended fused labia.

Images 5: 26 week of gestation. Color Doppler image show a cystic structure representing the bladder.

Images 6, 7: Postnatal images showing the dilated labia. Note the "scrotal" appeearance due to the similar embryological origin.
