Perinatology Unit, Carabobo University, Valencia - Venezuela

This is a 36-year-old patient, G1P0. The following images were obtained during a routine 13 week ultrasound scan.

A cystic hygroma was observed.

Ductus venosus spectral Doppler was normal.

An amnocentesis was performed. She returned at 18 weeks for another examination, in which the following images were obtained.

Nuchal fold and cerebellar vermis agenesia

A normal heart was also observed.

2 umbilical arteries

Normal circle of Willis.

Fetal Karyotype proved to be Klinefelter syndrome
