This fetus  was examined at 37 weeks gestation. We suspected a teratoma or tyroglossal cyst. However, the postnatal diagnosis was a hemangiolymphangioma. Hemangiolymphangioma is a malformation of both lymphatic and blood vessels. Note the cystic appearance, which contrast with the more solid appearance of the case highlighted in the previous sentence. Look also for differential diagnosis under teratoma of the neck and epignathus.
