Genu recurvatum

This is a fetus at 23 weeks of gestation with genu recurvatum, that was well demonstrated on 3D. There was mild polyhydramnios with no intracranial or facial anomalies. The characterizing features that were noted were the extreme anterior displacement and angulation of both the legs at the knee joints. Mild rocker bottom feet were also seen. The upper limbs also showed restricted mobility and fixed flexion. The parents opted for termination of the pregnancy and the findinds were confirmed. The parents refused karyotyping.
