Diverticulum of the right ventricle

Case report
   
The following images and video shows a case of a 35-year-old woman G1P0, with non contributive history and uncomplicated pregnancy, presented to our unit at 21st week of pregnancy. Her ultrasonographic examination revealed a diverticulum of the right cardiac ventricle of the fetus. The rest of the fetal anatomy was normal. 

Images 1, 2: The images show a transverse scan of the fetal thorax at the level o the four-chamber view. The diverticulum of the right ventricle is visible (asteriks).

Video 1: The video shows a transverse scan of the fetal thorax at the level of the four-chamber view. The diverticulum of the right ventricle with preserved contractility can be clearly seen protruding out of the right ventricle.
