The following images show a case of the diastematomyelia detected at 23 weeks of pregnancy.

Images 1, 2: 23 weeks of pregnancy; the images show coronal scans of the fetal spine with diastematomyelia. An osseus septum (arrow on the Image 2) partially subdivides the vertebral canal and spinal cord into the two parts.
