Inner Vision Women's Ultrasound, Nashville, Tennessee, USA.
Case report
This is a case of a 21-year-old G2P1 who was referred to our center for ultrasound examination. The patient had a positive urine pregnancy test and approximately 10 weeks amenorrhoea. She developedĀ severe nausea and vomiting.
Our images revealed the enlarged uterus, with no sign of the gestation sac in the uterine cavity. The cavity was dilated and filled with the echogenic material and small cysts. Our diagnosis based on the ultrasound findings was Complete molar pregnancy.
The patient saw her gynecologist afterwards, her hCG blood level was over 200,000 mIU/ml and she underwent D&C.
