Twenty-seven-year old patient, G1P0, with menstrual delay of 7 days, with Beta-hCG levels of 14.000 mU/ml. Ultrasound study shows an empty uterine cavity and the image of a gestational sac in the posterior lip of the uterine cervix.
The patient required two doses of Methotrexate to achieve a decline in the levels of Beta-hCG, with a complete disappearance of measurable levels twenty-one days after completion of the last dose.
