Case report

A 32-year-old woman, G1P0, with a normal fist trimester screening and unremarkable history came to our unit at 22 weeks of gestational age for anomaly scan.

Our examinations at 22 and 31 weeks of pregnancy revealed an echogenic lesion inside in the right atrium, without any other anomalies. The patient was informed about the possible diagnosis: cardiac tumor - tuberous sclerosis, but she refused the amniocentesis.The baby was born at term and the diagnosis of right atrial rhabdomyoma was confirmed. Spontaneous regression of the tumor was seen at 6 month of life, and molecular analysis ruled out tuberous sclerosis.

Images 1-4: 2D images show a tiny echogenic lesion attached to the right atrium wall. Atrio-ventricular and ventriculo-arterial concordance were normal.
