Case report
A G2P1, with unremarkable medical history presented to our clinic at 21st week of pregnancy. We discovered bilateral renal agenesis with anhydramnios. Suprarenal glands appeared hypertrophic. An amniocentesis was performed, but we were not able to obtain any amniotic fluid. An umbilical cord puncture revealed normal karyotype 46, XX. The parents decided for termination of the pregnancy, but refused necropsy of the fetus. Fetal weight was 700 g without any external anomaly. These are some of the images we obtained.
Absent kidneys in the renal fossa, with deformed adrenal glands
