Bicornuate uterus, 2nd trimester pregnancy

This is a second trimester pregnancy in a bicornuate uterus. Note that the fetal head is in the right horn and that the placenta is inserted partially on the intervening septation. These pregnancies usually do well and the parents should not be alarmed by confusing this with amniotic bands.
