These are the antenatal scans of a term fetus with aqueductal stenosis. After the baby was born, an MRI was performed which showed mild hydrocephalus and the diagnosis of aqueductal stenosis was confirmed. A ventriculo-peritoneal shunt was placed and the baby is doing well.

Note the large lateral ventricles and distended 3rd ventricle (second image).
