Amelia of the upper limbs

Case report

Amelia is the most severe malformation of the "limb reduction defects". We present the case of the isolated upper limbs'amelia discovered at 14 weeks of pregnancy. The patient"s history was noncontributive and the course of the pregnancy was normal. Her triple test was also normal. Here are some of the images obtained during her pregnancy showing the fetal amelia of the upper limbs.
