Case report
This is a caseĀ of 23-year-old G1 P0, who was referred to our practice at 15 weeks of gestation for a suspicion of the central nervous system anomaly, meningomyelocele.
It was a pregnancy after in vitro fertilization. Patient had non contributive personal or family history. We did perform a transabdominal and transvaginal scan.Ā It was a male fetus with acrania. There were no other anomalies diagnosed during the examination.
TheĀ couple was counceled by geneticist and opted for pregnancy termination due to an adverse prognosisĀ for the fetus.
