Transposition of the great arteries

The following video shows the case of the transposition of the great vessels diagnosed in 21 weeks of gestation. Aorta was arising from the right ventricle and pulmonary artery from the left ventricle.

Images 1,2: Image 1 shows a 4-chamber view. Image 2 shows a parallel course of the great arteries, aorta (Ao) and pulmonary (PA).

Images 3,4: Image 3 shows a main pulmonary artery arising from the left ventricle and bifurcating into right and left pulmonary arteries. Image 4 shows the aorta arising from the right ventricle.
