Case report:
A 27-year-old women (G2Ab1) was referred to our fetal medical unit for routine prenatal ultrasound at 23+5 weeks. There was no known family history of congenital disease.
We diagnosed an isolated right aortic arch with left ductus arteriosus. The aorta was on the right of the trachea and pulmonary trunk and ductus arteriosus were on the left. These vessels formed a vascular ring around the trachea (“U-sign").
No other associated findings were detected on the ultrasound examination.Â
