Persistent left superior vena cava and absent right superior vena cava

Elizabeth Darnell, RDMS

Montana Perinatal Center, USA

Case report

A 22-year old woman, (G3P0)  was referred to our unit for follow up on sub-optimally visualized anatomy and intermittent PACs noted at the time of her anatomical survey.

Her sequential integrated screen was negative and other medical history non-contributory. We did not observe an arrhythmia, but we found a persistent left superior vena cava and absent right superior vena cava during the cardiac evaluation.
