This is 28-year-old woman (G2-P1) with unremarkable history, scanned at 20th week of pregnancy. Ultrasound investigation revealed cystic structures at the level of the left fetal thorax consistent with cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung type I. The karyotype was normal (46, XX). The mother decided to continue pregnancy. We performed six punctures of cystic structures from 21st to 32nd week of pregnancy with gaining about 300cc of fluid every time. We could see decompression of the heart after punctures. The patient delivered at 38 week of pregnancy. The baby had just mild respiratory distress but didn"t need mechanical ventilation. Twelve hours after delivery a surgical treatment was performed. Postoperative course was normal. Now the baby is three months old and is doing well. Here are some of the pictures we obtained.
