Cystic adenomatoid malformation of the lung, type I

Case report

A G4P1 presented to our unit at 18 weeks of pregnancy for routine ultrasound scan. We discovered cystic adenomatoid malformation of the right fetal lung. Here are some images and video that we obtained.

Images 1, 2: 2D ultrasonography; 18 weeks of pregnancy. Image 1 - transverse thoracic view showing normal left lung and cystic adenomatoid malformation of the right lung (type I). Image 2 - more detailed scan of the cystic adenomatoid malformation of the right fetal lung.
